    • Code is considered to be well known.
    • update the Readme, License, Travis integration potential theme issue that needs to be fixed.
    • Nick to work with Nelson.
  • Nick spoke to Nelson and they have some pull requests to merge, pretty close to ready.

Interest Groups

• Preservation Interest Group (Donald/Nick)

• Robin sent out a note for the Premis group (a subgroup of this group)

• External services group met in Early December. Looking hard at Camel.

• Aaron Coburn willing to help. Camel allows horizontal scaling.

• External services group both F4 and F3, may end up being mostly F4.

• Similar discussions on F4 mailing list.

• Archival interest group (Nick)

• Met in December

• A lot of Admin stuff - schedule meetings etc.

• Nick - experiment of adding a EAD data stream as an external data stream linked to data in AtoM.

• Mark mentioned manuscript module, can ingest EAD or TEI

• ArchiveMatica - DGI has released a module for integration with Archivematica. Ingest through Islandora and pushes a sword package to Archivematica, creating AIP. Goal to run in Compute Canada. SFU and UofT to test. https://github.com/discoverygarden/archidora

• Documentation interest group (Kirsta)

• Meeting 19th of this month

• crunching data from survey they sent out earlier

• go over volunteer list, coordination between doc team and release team

• Fedora 4 Interest Group (Nick)

  • Fedora 3-> 4 Migration survey.
  • Danny, David, Nick and Melissa finished prospectus and send out an official announcement
  • Danny Lamb - technical lead and Nick is project director
  • biweekly chats with David and Andrew Woods of f4
  • relaunch Fedora 4 interest group.
  • Will work on F3 to f4 migration
  • Goal is to have prototype ready in June for OR
  • F4 kicking off migration pilot projects, would like a simple Islandora site to migrate.
  • OR submissions due by Jan. 30th (Fedora 4 or not)
  • Raised 30% to 40% of funds for Islandora F4 integration
  • David John Evans has done some work with Drupal 8 and Fedora 4
  • Some organizations contributing dev time instead of cash

Islandora Camp updates

• no new registrations lately but pretty close to breaking even

• schedule pretty close to fully done.

• Melissa will start to focus on Europe camp

• potential Islandora F4 meetup type discussions as well.

• Islandora Conference

  • Conference theme is Community (working title = "home is where you hang your tuque")
  • met before Christmas regarding price, theme etc.
  • key to get announcements out early

New Business

• 7.x-1.5 Release team call for volunteers is out.

• Would be good to promote at each institution to try and get more volunteers.

• New module offered to the Foundation: Disk Image SP from Nick Ruest

• Can extract metadata etc. SluethKit bundles many tools to enable this.

• includes xslt to index filenames and directories etc in search.

• Tests pass locally and on Travis.

• Zack Vowell working on a viewer for this.

• Have Nick's CLA already

• All votes +1, Melissa will contact members not here for their votes.

• New interest group officially convened: GIS

• Has not met yet.

• Wiki referenced above is worth looking at.

• Interested in a METS (Structured Metadata) Module?

  • Nigel interested in structmap type data for index etc.

• Roundtable

• This is Chad's last Islandora Roadmap meeting

• Nigel - interested in a METS structured Metadata module in particular a structmap. Lyrasis maybe interested

• Mark - Bowing Down home project, Island fiddle tunes. includes rich RDF statements about tunes, artists etc. Launch in March. Story solution pack. include FRBROO

• Donald - workflows for Bowing down home including scp and external data streams.

• Chad - had multiple Fedoras in one tomcat with multiple gsearch installs etc. Have changed to single Fedora's for each client, they find it more stable. Had also used cloudfuse for swift integration but found it made Fedora unstable i.e. minor network issues would cause Fedora to crash
