- Foundation support for community contributions (Donald): discussion about looking into "Bounty Hunter": help with developer/commit end. Peter: How we would evaluate candidates- different from volunteers (component managers, etc); needs to be some evaluation of accountability. Models from other open source projects? Donald: community decision (best patch = receives the bounty, or other type model). Peter: 1) bounty for particular issue 2) stipend for someone managing pull requests/code review. Is this the direction? Mark: separate from release management. Two options: 1) IF commits to x hrs/week for technical resource who would be employed by foundation. During that time they would look at in-between/orphans 2) bounty that is a pool or dedicated to one person (each month) and given a stipend to do part-time work. Which would be the most desirable? Discussion: 1st option (20hrs/month) gives some stability to process. Same person, same experience working through various coding issues (e.g. travis). Mark: proposal to board about next step approach on part-time hire; consideration of how to implement bounty hunter at some time.

Resources for Islandora Website: e.g. Code Snippets

intention of resource page was to branch out. e.g. Form Repo, modules point to code that hasn't made it to release cycle yet, etc. Discussion: Code snippet seems like a natural enhancement. Nigel: Similar tool in Github (gist). Peter: way to tag hits that would make they searchable? To go on website: RSS or something to pull gist related to Islandora. Gist- mini repo- fragments of files, lightweight github repo. Description field available as well as comment section. Is there a way to pull into node on Drupal site for searching and browse. Need to be some sort of curation. Typical use case: how to? or bug in code. share error log. Embedded URL should populate Drupal node. Curation form stared or forked. Feeds in order would be a way to populate nodes. Take a look at snippet for drush (spreadsheets) Create link to home base: accommodate from multiple sources. Site --> list e.g. thurloat/gistrss https://github.com/thurloat/gistrss Disadvantages: finding and organizing, maybe incomplete To Do: Sam look into integrating snippets/gists into resource page. Modules pages look over once a quarter to make sure everything is up to date. To Do: Sam to look at creating a page for resources, how to use them, (e.g. how to report something broken, how to get JIRA account, etc) FAQ page.
