LSAP for Islandora Repository Reports
- We saw a brief demo. Reports are mostly charts, can be exported as csv. Mny reports come with it. Examples: node by content type, disk usage, files by mime type
- Module looks good. Nice to see that it doesn't come with a lot of dependencies (no js libraries to install)
- Vote called 2 +0, 12 +1. Melissa will follow up with absent members.

Metadata IG (Rosie)
- Excited for islandora Online Metadata event
- Talked about making recommendations and migration tools less 7->8 focussed. Enrich them so they don't assume a specific profile.
- How to make metadata more interoperable? Once fields are built, changing them is hard. Maybe look at having a record written to a file, using twig templates or OAI modules. New step would just be to put file into Fedora, and maybe keep as Media. Generating metadata from Drupal fields. Not read-write, just one way. Also storing the "old" MODS when migrating, to preserve anything that may get lost in translation. Biggest challenge: How to do a "default" and let people take it where they want it, with flexibility, but still keep people on best practices/easy upgrades?

IR interest group (Bryan)
- Last meeting was a great demo from Rosie and Alexander at UPEI, showing off their Islandora-RDM platform. Slides available. A lot of overlap between the RDM project and IR needs.
-
ISLE Interest Group (Gavin)
- ISLE 7 has had a 1.5 release. No release for June, will be one in July. Bi-monthly from here on out.
- ISLE 8 has shifted buildkit and isle-dc to work in tandem. Evolutions so you can start up ISLE 8 as a sandbox with lots of configurations already made for you. Looking at how to easily translate that experience into states of development and production sites. Things are coming along really well; lots of attention for the end goal, not just development for its own sake. Thankful for ongoing conversations across different groups to keep that user focus.
- Multi-tenancy Interest Group (Brandon) - Recent conversations with DGI about different approaches to multi-site.
Danny's not here, so...notes from Wednesday. A lot of great discussions are happening.
-
Overall schedule set.
- Islandora 8 - all set
- Metadata - almost all set. Flipped the schedule a bit so that discussion happens in the first half, and the event ends with a panel on issues of diversity in metadata.
- Migrations - Good CFP content, need a panel. ICC recommends a panel with diverse experience in migration (just starting, planning, in progress, finished) and the tools, and then the questions for discussion is some form of "How do you do a migration checklist?" to capture what information you need to know before you make decisions about migrating.
- IR - Small CFP response; needs ideas and approach for the event that can help pull the community closer together on a shared vision for IRs in Islandora, as a lot of work has already begun. Panel should inform the topic, and discussions should bring us to a shared list of features for an IR in Islandora. ICC had ideas for additional sessions. More TBD in collaboration with IRIG.

Lessons learned from CTDA?
- Find a middle path between structure/unstructured
- Have a Zoom helper for technical issues
- Put engaging content at the end to keep people online
- Start by laying out ground rules and expectations
- Be open about the challenges/don't be perfectionist.
- Have lots of breaks!
- Gavin: please wear masks and donate to bail funds if you can!
- Don: Please join IR discussions!
- David Wilcox: Online user group meeting coming up. Putting out videos demoing Fedora 6. Close to feature completion (alpha coming soon)
- Amy: ICG surveyed internally for Islandora priorities. Will be sharing more soon and sharing as part of Islandora Online. Melissa: IF is speaking at Drupalcon Global and at the libraries summit. Busy evening!
