Project Team Meeting October 2023

Chicago Sprint (Oct. 30-31)- Some DataGen team members will be attending; Allison is in charge of new member onboarding for this Sprint. There are currently no plans for a hybrid component to this in-person Sprint event. Aaron gave us an update today on the preparations, and will be posting a summary (in Slack?) soon.

We have a goal to tidy up the issues lists (Snowfakery, DataGen repos) prior to the Sprint. Please review these lists, and...
1. If you're confident that it has been resolved or is no longer a concern, close the issue. (No worries, it can be re-opened if necessary, or a new improved issue created.)
2. If you're unclear as to what's being asked for in the issue, or any questions at all, post a Comment on the issue, it will help move things along!
As part of our cross-team collaborations, Jung is in contact with the GRMS and MSB teams:
1. Grassroots Mobile Survey team is interested in getting sample data created for use in their package. Update description of a new ticket (Issue 153) for test data Snowfakery recipe for GRMS.
2. Update the Membership Schema Snowfakery recipe on our project repository (make it like the newer one on MSB repo)

Cori got 2 new orgs set up for our team to use, for Sprints and other project stuff; she will let us know when these convert to persistent orgs (and then can have users added).
Rules/guidelines for the use of these orgs will be developed by our team during future meetings. For example, sample data should only be loaded into sandbox copies of the org.

Next meeting is Wednesday, Nov-1 at 2PM ET / 11AM PT, and likewise every first Wednesday of the month.
