What’s Happened Since the Sprint:

Paul on Snowfakery Updates:

SnowFakery is now in CCI, as of just now. Still needs testing, but they are installed together. Schema generator that is starting to pull information from NPSP as POC level code. Provides a ~60% useful schema for NPSP. Could be creating a baseline NPSP generator. Paul’s been working on this as a CCI-based bolt on. Did a presentation both for US Timezones and an Indian User Group.
Getting a good set of feedback and questions.

Recent questions that Paul has raised: What should we call the SnowFakery input file?

Ideas:

  • Snowfakery Factory File
  • Snowfakery Template File
  • Snowfakery Generator File
  • Snowfakery File
  • Snowfakery Recipe “Snowfakery Recipe“ received support from all of us.

What should tackle:

Need to pick some tasks and assign roles for the next couple of months.

Groups of tasks: Design and development of new features On boarding and simplifying startup Advocacy and education

How do you know when it’s time to use Snowfakery, and how to make it easy for an admin to deploy.

We need to finish the process for our application for Open Source Commons, that Samantha sent to SFDO last night. We will continue to need to make sure we are differentiating our efforts from SFDO and SFDC Projects and Products
