SF Indicator Collaboration

  1. Interviewed Stakeholders from the SF Indicator gathering additional requirements along with the user stories.
  2. Installed SF Indicator bundle and start loading test data using the Snowfakery recipe (Major Donors) from the Snowfakery Recipe template repository.
  3. Will continue developing a Snowfakery recipe for donation related data after the sprint (Issue Created).

DLRS Collaboration

  1. Interview stakeholders from the DLRS team and helped develop a draft of their QA workflow.
  2. Will continue developing Snowfakery recipes for four different use cases.

MemershipSchemaAndBenefits Collaboration

  1. Loading test data with Snowfakery was demoed and recorded. Worked on editing the recording so that it could be distributed.

Data Generation Toolkit- description used in March 2023 Community Sprint Project Choices

Team focused on creating resources such as recipes for generating realistic test data sets to help admins build better, often using Snowfakery (a CumulusCI tool). Learn more about this project: Project GitHub Repo.

Jobs to be done at the Sprint

  • Improve and expand existing sample Snowfakery recipe collection.
  • Develop improved process for testing Snowfakery recipes.
  • Write great instructions for using Snowfakery recipes to populate scratch, sandbox, and demo orgs.

Specific Skills needed

  • Writing documentation and/or User Stories
  • Familiarity with either NPSP or EDA data model
  • Quality Assurance testing
  • Salesforce Administration, with experience creating scratch or sandbox orgs
  • Completed (at least the personal computer install steps) of the Trailhead “Build Applications with CumulusCI”
