Requires a completed drive by wire interface with PID control and a USB interface. The work has been divided into two categories:
Henry and Wim are tasked with creating a PCB and comms system with the following specs:
- 32 bit micro capable of doing a bit of maths.
- 2 PWM outputs to the actuator and servo (comms/long distance stuff)
- USB
Simon and Zac will choose components for the following:
- A servo to control the steering.
- A linear actuator to drive the brake pedal.
- Brackets or other mounting systems for both.
- Cabling back to the comms port from the control board.
