Introduction

This is a description of the production process in designing the three levels of Trebuchet

Description

Muti-level

  • Lvl 1 -- Simple wood and stone trebuchet, lower range
  • Lvl 2 -- Metal and stone trebuchet, better defense, range and attack
  • Lvl 3 -- Magic trebuchets!! They're magic so they'll be cool

Visualizing building health

    • 50% -- light damage, cracks and holes
    • 100% -- Rubble

Draft

At the beginning of the design lv1 is a stone thrower, lv2 is a turret, lv3 is an electromagnetic tower. However, these three designs seemed too independent and not well suited to the upgrade system, so they were abandoned.

Lv1 -- Stone trebuchet

lv1-north lv1-south lv1-west

Lv2 -- Metal stone trebuchet

Lv3 -- Magic trebuchets

Completed animation Draft

Lv3 -- Rubble

Lv3 -- 50%

Final design

After improvement I decided to design three similar casters, with different details to indicate different levels, so that it is more suitable for the level mechanism.
