The package manager can be used to install 3rd party Adept libraries into your local project folder
For example you project may start off like this:
my_project/
file1.adept
file2.adept
file3.adept
main.adept
If you wanted to install Box2D into your project you could do:
adept install box2d
Then, your project would look like this:
my_project/
box2d/
box2d.adept
file1.adept
file2.adept
file3.adept
main.adept
Different packages install different files into your project. Most will create a subdirectory for their files, but some template packages like Sailboat
create files directly in the current folder.
Since the package management features are brand new, there aren't many packages available yet, but here is a list:

You can add your own packages to the public stash, by sending me an email at [email protected]
with the following information:
- Package name
- Human-Friendly name
