Person | Institution |
---|---|
Ken Raffenetti | ANL |
Aurelien Bouteiller | UTK |
Thomas Naughton | ORNL |
- SC24
- Requested space at UTK booth for fixed time
- Will need to publicize this info
- Possibly have small flyers to share details, a LinkedIn post (or the like) to share these details. Also post to the NGSST slack & mailing lists and obviously the standard pmix-forum & openpmix lists.
- ASC positions
- Secretary seat open
- Need to check when chair seat ends
- PMIX v5.1 updates
- Working on the use case material, some recent progress on code examples (e.g., business card exchange) and minimal implementation demonstrator (e.g., logger + tool example).
- Reviewed Ken’s business card exchange example w/ TCP port/addr info
- Discussion about easiest place to house examples, seems good to keep them w/ git history and easy markdown style format for surrounding docs
- Keep these items separate from standard procedural process to make examples easier to update/review/post.
- PR reviews
- PR500 - 2nd review passed, but awaiting merge. This was an errata. Need to add a ChangeLog item and then can finish GitHub Review to allow merge
- PR495 - Ready to merge
- PR449 - passed 1st vote, just need to schedule next vote in Oct.
- PR514 - need to add the python whitelisting to avoid complaints, after python change this ready to merge these editorial change.
- This completes the current PRs.
- Discussion
- Seems focus going forward will likely be on making sure standard and implementation align. The standard does appear to accommodate most of the things needed.
- Question about publishing of key/value data a second time being unclear. Need to verify the standard language for this and in case of implementation this is not allowed. Could be that verbiage may need to be added to govern updates by of fence. Suggestion to have a reproducer and use that to clarify the standard text.
- October Meetings
- Cancel October monthly (10-oct) due to quarterly the following week.
