This article is a stub. We need to document at least the following here:

  • How is the lattice data structured.
  • What type of ID numbers do we have.
  • How do we conveniently convert from one type to another.
  • When should we retrieve quantities from LatticeData, when from the MacroscopicPropertyCache, and when from the NeighbouringDataManager?
