- Tasks 1-4: design choices, code developed, problems encountered, etc.
- Task 5: Inlet/outlet boundary conditions.
- Taking into account that our first approach to initialisation will be to advect particles into the domain at the inlet and remove them at the outlet.
- Task 5 is the last task remaining before we can have a sequential implementation (modulo data I/O, see below). Discuss which integration tests do we want to put in place.
- In the project's kickoff meeting, we discussed doing task 9 (data I/O) once task 3 was completed. Do we want to look into it now?
- Task 6: Algorithm that moves particles between computational subdomains.
- Task 7: Implement parallel IBM.
- Task 8: Design and implement more advanced particle initialisation methods
- Conference paper: Exascale Applications and Software Conference, Edinburgh 21-23 April, http://www.easc2015.ed.ac.uk. Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words (talks) or 200 words (posters), and must be submitted by the 15th January 2015. Paper Submission deadline: 4th May 2015.
- Conference paper/poster: ICCB 2015 (http://congress.cimne.com/ICCB2015/frontal/default.asp) Timm has been invited to give a talk. We could consider having a poster with more details about the project.
- Journal paper: Choose journal and timeline. Discuss content.
- This is one of the reporting items in the quarterly reports. We should make sure that we are active in this area.
- Identify funding opportunities that we could target, ideally more science-based.
- Schedule next face to face meeting. End of Q3?
