Intel ZR300 visual-inertial sensor.
Unfortunately, Intel discontinued manufacturing this sensor.
An alternative would be Loitor Cam2pc Visual-Inertial SLAM Sensor or Optor Visual-Inertial sensor.
You could build your own VI sensor as instructed here.
Note that we haven't tested these sensors with our full stacks. However, it is proven that these sensors work properly with ROVIO which is our main VI-odometry. It is therefore likely to work fine with our packages. We are looking forward to hearing about your experiences and would like to support in case you are trying to use another VI-sensor.
- We have a nice tutorial page for building your own VI-sensor.
- Recently (as of May/2019), Intel released a new VI-sensor named T265 that embedded Vision Processing Unit (VPU) so that the camera is able to directly output odometry as ROS odom message! More detail about this $199 camera, please have a look here T265
