Profile Editor

The Helios Profile Editor is the primary editor for creating, modifying, and installing Helios profiles. However, it cannot run the profile, so the controls will not respond to changes when opened in the Profile Editor.

By contrast, the Control Center is just a "player" for the profile that runs it when in use, and which can never modify a profile.

The Profile Editor contains a number of views that can be moved, resized, and in some cases hidden. The views include:

• Toolbox
• Preview
• Profile Explorer
• Bindings
• Properties

and a number of

Editing Canvases, which are usually called "Monitor …" if they show a full monitor's worth of content, and otherwise may show just one Panel that is open for editing.
