Falcon BMS implements a shared memory segment where flight and sim data are updated while the application is running. Helios accesses the shared memory data for use within Helios profiles that implement the Falcon Interface. Shared memory data is only available to Helios when Falcon is in the 3D world. Any data gathered by Helios profiles that implement the Falcon Interface outside of the 3D world is purely through file and registry manipulation. Some Helios profiles written for Falcon BMS extrapolate data from falcon ini files or Windows registry entries as well.

There are a currently two toolbox categories within the Profile Editor that contain controls specific to Falcon BMS. Falcon Textures and Falcon Simulator are the two control categories. Follow the wiki links for more information about those controls.
