Coding Standards
Development of a collaborative community will be greatly facilitated if standard conventions are developed and accepted by the group. These include conventions on time standards and time zones, file names for programs and data, and for archiving. While these should not restrict users choices in development, they usually have arisen through trial and error and can improve coherence in the Argus development community.
Conventions cover three topics
