   Description: Two 5MP cameras sit on the roof of the Dream Inn hotel overlooking the Santa Cruz main beach and boardwalk to the east and Cowell's to the south (with a disjoint view). In addition to typical beach response, these cameras are expected to capture the ephemeral river mouth bar behavior of the San Lorenzo River and the inter-annual appearance/disappearance of a large sandy lobe at Cowells in the leeward side of the Santa Cruz headland.

   Description: Two 5MP cameras overlook the Sunset State Beach, effectively imaging a 1km stretch of straight, intermediate, dynamic beach. Seasonal beach response includes shoreline retreat coupled with offshore bars in winter while the beach is replenished and straightened during summer. Cusps regularly form on this beach with wavelengths ranging from O(10m) to O(200m).
