Offboard Mode

  • Publish topic /mavros/setpoint_local/position with header stamp.
    Otherwise, the setpoint is not taken.
  • x, y and z setpoints should be in ENU frame. Mavros will convert them to NED for pixhawk reference.
  • The setpoint message also takes orientation input into account.

Preflight Check

  • Level Horizon
  • Flyer feel during previous flight tests, for the forward flight mode.

Pre-event stuff

  • Magnetometer Calibration
  • Test flights in some secluded location.
