• Deployment automation:
  • Who will do the "new deployer" role at REI?
    • TODO: Sid will send out résumé of the person who will be doing this. Veepika -- she's an intern getting a bachelor's degree in CS. She's being on-boarded now in LAMP stack stuff by Ram; she will start trying to deploy Checkbook in a week to ten days.
  • Has reflection of issues between JIRA and GitHub begun?
    • ANSWER: Not yet, but Ajibola Farinloye is going to be doing it.
    • Use of GitHub issue numbers along with JIRA numbers in commit messages. For example, in a commit like this one.
    • Linking to original post thread from both trackers? (As Ram did in the "Smart Search issue with autosuggest" bug, for example.) Thinking in particular of these May defect reports posted in the group:
      • "Checkbook - EDC UAT defect"
      • "Contract Transactions Page - EDC"
      • "Contract Transaction Page - EDC" (different from the other one)
      • "Spending Transactions Page - EDC"
      • "FW: Contract # CTA180120137201772".
• Windows support? (See discussion on group.)
  • DECISION: Agreed, no Windows as yet.
• What are the active branches right now? Looks like mainly checkbook_edc and checkbook_edc_maint_fork, and a little bit of checkbook_nyc, according to the Branches page.
  • ANSWER: New branch policy being implemented by REI; they will document it in the Branches page.
• Alerts icon: looks like discussion on positioning in UI is going to happen internally? (see thread)
