Hevika is the name of crystallic areas with highly-ionized crystal growth, which can primarily be found in esetera depths on alterash prime planets. The crystals here are saturated and super-charged with alternia energy.
Alternia Shards are hevika crystals.
Used by altas as a powerful energy source or as decoration.
The energy hevika crystals produce is used everywhere, but can be primarily seen in certain alta labs, like Hevika Ordis facilities. Thus, hevika decorations are mostly lab equipment with hevika crystals attached to it, made mostly from titanium with reinforced stands.

Hevikai
An alta disease that stems from exposure to overcharged ionic crystals. The energy imbalance causes them to "malfunction", lose their mind and even start developing crystals all over their bodies under extreme exposure.
The deseace was first discovered because of a failed experiment by Hevika Ordis, which resulted in a local outbrake and a consecutive tragedy.
Any affected-beyond-return altas are considered a danger and are referred to by the name of the disease - as the hevikai or the hevikai altas.
Special Research facilities focused on studying alternia energy. These labs became the source of the hevikai epidemic due to a failed experiment.
The visual style of hevika labs is represented by titanium furniture on reinforced stands, utilizing ionic energy pulled directly from overcharged hevika crystals.
