Software ~ Advanced ~ Ethernet Hotspot
- Set
ETHERNET_HOTSPOT=Y
in wifibroadcast-1.txt to enable the Ethernet hotspot - Connect a RJ-45 cable directly from your PC to the Pi Ethernet port (don't use any hub or switch), if you also have a HDMI monitor connected, you should see a message that the device has been detected.
- The IP of the Pi is now 192.168.1.1, and your PC has recieved 192.168.1.2.
- When the Ethernet hotspot is on, the wifi hotspot doesn't work.
