Some nice quotes from past CIOs

When you take on the CIO position, you can choose one of two different paths: you can simply coast and maintain what the SGA currently has, following what’s in this manual. Or, you can be proactive and make solutions to the problems you find in the SGA. The choice is up to you — but I’d recommend the latter.

The CIO position is an extremely vital to SGA. There is so much to do it can be overwhelming. Heres how you can handle it. Step 0 - relax. Step 1 - Prioritize and plan: analyze what will be the most important for STUDENTS and prioritize those things first. Step 3 - Leverage your resources: Utilize the IT Council, delegate, work with the cabinet and administration to understand effectively what you're doing and how to do it. If you can do this you will be successful.
