• snapcraft (obvious, isn't it?)
• ccache speeds up compilation for C and C++ projects a lot and it's easy to set up
• use apt-cacher-ng or squid-deb-proxy to cache downloaded .deb packages - apt-cacher-ng is easy to set up to
