User interventions: create own charter collection
User must be logged in.
In “MyArchive” click on “My Collections*”.
There are 4 menu items:
- Create Collection
- Bookmarks
- My Collections
- Shared Collections
On click, a popup appears with a text field to name the new Collection. After creating the new collection, the collection name appears under “My Collections”.
- Click on the collection name under "My Collections".
- Click on “Create Charter” → a new charter appears, with default values for title ("New Charter") and issue date ("99999999" = undated).
- To edit the charter, click on “Default Editor”.
You can also access the charters in your private collection via Collections -> My Collections (Preview) -> {select you collection and your charter, you will find an EditMOM3-button in the head}
Display the charter in its original context. Click “Add Bookmark”. Then select “Edit My Collections” and click on “Bookmarks”. Drag and drop the charter onto the target collection under “My Collections”. If you want to use the description of the charter from the source, select the "public version" in the "display" column (button "public version" will get a white background). If you prefer to display your own description of the charter, select your "own version".
Go to the archival fond/collection that contains the charter you want to use as base description for your own. There, go to the full display of your charter. Then, click on "Copy charter". Select the collection in which the charter should appear. You will be warned about possible consequences regarding intellectual property. After accepting this, the copy process will take a while. You will then find the charter in your "My Collections" area or in the preview of your collection*.
Click the checkbox on a newly created charter, then click on “Share”. A popup appears with a text field - insert the email address of a Mom-ca user and click on "Invite". You can invite more than one user.
If you are logged in and access Monasterium.net via the "Collections" menu*, you will see a "My Collections (Preview)" function in the red box on the right. There you can see a preview of your own charter descriptions as they would appear when published. In this preview you can select a single collection, manage it (remove, edit the preface), and download it ("Download collection as XML/CEI").
