Design Decisions

The following design decision where made to bring the entire prototype together to make the application flow seamlessly through its pages.

Forum Page Design

The forum pages where set with a white background with the logo situated at the top left. This made these pages stand out from the rest, the purpose of this was so signify their importance. We needed the users to take these sections seriously as the app is based around user feedback. These pages went off IOS's design rulings as they are so commonly used in society users can recognise and feel comfortable with the format. Having a blank background made the users focus more on the content.

Overall Application Design

The design was set with a black background, this was to draw the focus to the lighter coloured buttons on the pages. Each button had an inner glow to make them stand out from the page, this was to draw the users attention to make it easier to find. A lighter red to pink was used as our call to action buttons, these buttons usually directed the user to the core functionality of the application. This was done purposefully to help users navigate through the application. The blue button was used an informational button. If the blue button was clicked it usually brought the user to a page that described the application/location further or took the user to a forum.
