Casper Signer Whitelisting Request Guide
This is a how-to article that will guide users to raise a Casper Signer Whitelisting request to whitelist their URL/Domain. The article will also explain the process involved in the background to fulfil the request.
Important Note:
Casper Signer will soon be replaced by Casper Wallet
- If you are an existing Signer user looking to change/update, we recommend that you migrate to Casper Wallet when it is launched.
- If you are building a new DApp or Application, we recommend that you directly integrate it with Casper Wallet.

How to raise a request and the approval process:

Recommendations when submitting a request

Information provided in the request will be the key inputs for KYC review. Therefore, it’s recommended that the requester/s provide the below information in the request. Use the ‘Project Description’ section to add more details.

Details that can help a seamless KYC are;

Requester company/organization's URL/Domain Name

Details of the specified Project/Dapp available on the Organisation's website, blog posts, social media handles

Organization/Team structure

Product/App Roadmap
-
Open Source Code Base/License

Intent/Justification for using Signer

Subject Matter Experts from MAKE Services and CasperLabs complete a code review

Casper Association will do a KYC +
-
Upon positive KYC outcome, the request will be forwarded to Casper Association’s authorized approver’s approval

Approved requests will be lined up for whitelisting

The URL(s) will be added to the manifest and released at the next scheduled version ++.

After a successful scheduled version update, the requester URL/Domain will be whitelisted
+ If the requester are not already known to Casper Association via an existing enterprise partnership / if they are KYC'd by the DevxDAO for a grant
++ Overall time to complete the process from request through to whitelisting may take up to 1 month, if the requests are placed right after a release
