Dr. Kishore T Kashyap: Professor (@ year 2010) at department of mechanical engineering, PESIT, Bengaluru – India; for introducing me to grain growth simulation theory using Q-state Pott’s model, for which I developed the MATLAB code, the free version of which was later uploaded to MATLAB file central HERE and HERE.

Dr. G Narayana Naik and Dr. N G Subramanya Udupa. 2nd to 7th versions were written during 2013 – 2014 in the department of aerospace engineering at Indian Institute of Science and department of mechanical engineering, Nagarjuna college of engineering and technology; for my master’s project, under the supervision of Dr. G Narayana Naik and Dr. N G Subramania Udupa.
-
8th version was developed during 2015 – 2016, whilst working as an Assistant professor in the department of mechanical engineering at PES University, Bengaluru, India.
-
Version 9 and above were written over the course of my PhD during my personal free time.
Apart from the 1st version which was written in the year 2010, there has been no funding for PXO. Unfortunately, I am not able to trace the the funding details which may be available with the original project investigator [Dr. K T Kashyap]. But, I am grateful to the project investigator for having exposed me to the field.
