This course is intended to familiarize students with the fundamentals of Open Source Software.
- Understand the principles and philosophies of open source software.
- Gain practical experience with open source tools and communities.
- Familiarize with the contribution process as well as develop skills to contribute to open source projects.
- Learn project management and collaboration techniques in an open source context.
- Experiment with several open source tools widely used in the world
