Our team project is Emergency and Accident Rescue Network for Elderly Living Alone, which aims to provide timely assistance to the elderly living alone in the event of an accident. By the end of the semester, our team will design a high-fidelity model based on a Web-based system to assist with emergency handling of the elderly.
-
It will include a series of completed interaction processes. Whenever an elderly person living alone is in a critical situation, a distress signal will be sent to the surrounding area centered on the elder's position. Volunteers will receive the signal and go to an appointed location to succor. Depending on the severity of the situation, they will decide whether they should notify the medical staff of further treatment.
-
We hope to demonstrate the entire rescue interaction process through this high-fidelity model, giving users an authentic experience. In addition, we hope that the product based on our high-fidelity model can be widely used in society. Thus, the time to rescue the elderly living alone can be reduced as much as possible.
