This is a beta release of MaxToLux, a LuxCore plugin for Autodesk® 3ds Max® 2019, 2020, 2021, And 3ds Max 2022


The first time you use the GPU render plugin will try to Compile the Kernels and it can take up to 5 minutes based on the PC configuration, it's not a crash nor a bug.


This release was built against LuxCore 2.61 final

Rewrite the mesh functions entirely
Support multiple materials
Add support for material Ids
Fix the crash of empty material Ids
Support all material IDs as long as it's not at the end of the material Ids list.
The translation is much faster and more convenient.

Change MaxToLux in the select renderer to LuxCore to avoid confusion.

Fix a huge memory leak during the render time.
Fix object Instancing render even if they are hidden.
Fix objects render even if they are selected as non-rederable objects.
Tweak IBL lighting system to match with 3dsmax.
Add full support for Body Objects.
Add support for path hybridbackforward.
Fix caustic not render correctly.
Fix object duplicate if they have instances and references at the same time.
Fix rotating HDRI not calculated if set as background and IBL. (rotation still has an offset and needs to be fixed)
Fix the issue with clear Glass caustic.
