Open Demo v1.3 Changelog

Version 1.3 of PlusUI brings a new context menu to cards, allowing you to customize the size and visibility of cards on the fly. It also brings a refresh to shelf animations and placement, lays the groundwork for the cardBank, as well as fixing a ton of bugs.

Shelf

• Refreshed shelf positions and layouts
  • Right-aligned layout now places items in a RTL layout instead of just moving the shelf to the right side
  • The shelf will now align to the left when being opened
  • Center layout is no longer available while the shelf is opened
• Further refined new shelfLabel and its animation(s)
• Shelf should no longer go offscreen when it’s wider than the screenwidth
• Shelf should once again smoothly transition between open/closed states

Cards

• New Reorder cards After entering edit mode, you can now click+drag* a card left/right to change its order in the shelf *(This only works with mouse/trackpad for now, touch support will be in a future 1.3.x update)
• New Context menu (Touch) Swipe up on a card to open context menu; tap+hold to enter edit mode (Mouse/trackpad) Rightclick/swipe up on a card to open context menu
• New Shink/expand cards Supported cards now have ‘shrink’ and ‘expand’ options that can show more or less information Uses an opt-out model, works on all card states, and smoothly transitions between shrunken/expanded
• You can now enter edit mode from any card’s context menu
• You can now hide cards without entering edit mode
• shortcutCard updated to support 8 shortcuts
• emojiLocaleCard updated to open Rolodex

  • Refreshed aboutBtn with new color-matching scheme
  • aboutBtn now opens aboutMe panel, in order to make the controlPanel easier to open
• Control Panel
  • Swiping down from anywhere on the timeDate panel will now open control center
  • expandToggle now autohides on desktop, showing when the mouse approaches

Experiments

• Codename: Rolodex

  Starting with v1.3, the emojiLocaleCard will open Codename: Rolodex while it’s being developed It’s pretty empty in this early iteration, but will be changed and developed in the coming days/weeks through 1.3.x updates
