Welcome to the F1tenth Opponent Vehicle Detection project wiki. This project was undertaken in the summer term of 2024 at CTU Prague for the project PVTY by a dedicated team to develop and implement methods for detecting opponent vehicles in an autonomous racing platform.
The goal of this project is to develop methods capable of detecting an opponent vehicle positioned or moving within 2 meters of the vehicle but no less than 30cm, with high precision and low processing time.
F1tenth is an open-source autonomous racing platform. More information can be found on their official website.
