Update the sample plug-in to be V3-compatible

Zowe V3 is scheduled to be released at the end of March 2024. It would be useful to have a sample plug-in available that will work with the latest version of Zowe CLI and Imperative.

Update the sample plug-in to be compatible with the changes introduced in Zowe CLI & Imperative v8.0.0.

Provide any additional context

It would be ideal for this to be available before the release of V3, but the other plug-ins should be higher priority (the CICS, Db2, MQ, and FTP plug-ins).
