A few minor (design) changes that hopefully make the functions/classes more intuitive to use.
Removed a few dependencies.

Results reproduced for the Calbindin data.

Minor correction.

Make sure the file handle is closed after being read

Brush up the code; removed unused dependencies

Made some design changes to `DurationCorrection`
