ARS: insights-crafting platform

Ars is a catalyst to the skillful application of intellectual or analytical abilities (the 'art') to gain deeper understanding or perception (the 'craft') in various fields for greater situational awareness, such as:

• Critical thinking and problem-solving
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Conceptual modeling and simulation
• Argumentation and persuasion

It is built on the principles of perceiving the data, and comprehending the information to make sense for projecting the future status. The platform builds on Apache Spark and Python integrating with vector, sql, nosql, and storage (cloud/on-premise) environments. Essentially a platform for serving enterprise AI/ML and augmented BI full-stack solutions.

• Cognitive - what is the behavior?

The Ars tools and processes will support an organization to mature from descriptive to cognitive analytics. For such data being the key ingredient, the Ars core components offer:

1. Wrangler - for processing data extract, transform, and load automated pipelines
2. Mining - Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) analytical methods
3. Visuals - interactive dashboards with visual analytics for Business Intelligence (BI)

Each of them is an independent component with a set of domain and sector-specific modules and common utility libraries. Additionally, each core component offers a set of notebooks with sample_data to understand the functions and pipelines offered through them.
