Pokemon App

This project is a Pokemon App that utilizes the Pokemon API from https://pokeapi.co/ to create a simple Pokemon application. The main goal of the project is to test the developer's ability to work with APIs and create a functional application using React. The project allows users to select their starter Pokemon team and saves their selections to local storage. The project also implements pagination to display a list of all available Pokemon from the API. Overall, this project showcases the developer's ability to work with APIs and React to create a simple, functional, and user-friendly application.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine.

  2. Install the required dependencies by running the following command:

    npm i

  3. Run the project using the following command:

    npm run dev

  4. Open the application in your web browser at what was given to you in the terminal.

Usage

Once the project is running, go to (what was given to you in the terminal) in your web browser to access the Pokemon app.

The app allows you to browse through a list of the original 151 Pokemon and select up to 6 to add to your team. You can navigate through the list using the pagination buttons and click on a Pokemon to select or deselect it. Once you have selected 6 Pokemon, the "Done" button will appear and you can click it to save your team and complete the app.
