I believe the return type of
stubObjectwould be more accurately represented asRecord<PropertyKey, never>, as this clearly indicates an empty object. Using{}in TypeScript might confuse since it represents a non-nullable value (equal toNonNullable<unknown>) rather than specifically an empty object.
