Short for TCP-RUST, is an implementation of TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) in RUST. This project is an attempt to learn about how TCP works.
The primary reason for this repo is to allow anyone to be able to interact with tun-tap without having to spend hours trying to run tun-tap. I've simply added
a ubuntu container inside docker, with the tools necessary for running & testing the implementation of TCP. Tools such as netcat
, ifconfig
, tshark
etc.
This project was developed on a Apple Silicon M1. If you are trying something similar, you'll find out that
tuntap
is no longer supported for macOS. So, I wrapped up the code in an ubuntu docker image to achieve the same.
