I got the number 0.714 by putting the first line,

>>> pprint(Integral(sqrt(phi0 + 1), phi0))

in a verbatim block above the image, and modifying the size until the two
matched up exactly.
There should be no gaps between the integral bars. The exact line spread seems
to vary a bit between PDF renderers, but 0.70 seems to be the largest that no
gaps or almost no gaps.

That's just a formatting fix, so no need to update #195. (The journal might reformat things further anyway.)
