The goal is to keep up maintenance of the Slim template language. A few hours of dedicated support are needed to continuously maintain the Ruby gem. I am @minad, one of the main developers and maintainers of the gem. Over the years I've put a lot of dedication and time into Slim. With your help I can set aside maintenance time for the project.

For now the plan is to do the main ground work:

1. Sort through open issues and pull requests,
2. Fix open bugs,
3. Ensure compatibility with recent releases of Ruby and Rails,
4. Create new releases.

Looking a bit more into the future, and depending on your support, I will consider adding support for new Ruby or Rails features and investigate improvements for recent web technologies. If Slim is useful for you, please consider sponsoring the project. Thank you!
