I'm using MetaMorpherus for O-glycopeptide search and facing an issue. Regardless of whether I include 'spectrumLibrary.msp' in the databases, the results remain unchanged. My spectral library is sourced from a larger dataset via MetaMorpherus and exported from MetaDraw to spectrumLibrary.msp directly. Why does the inclusion or exclusion of 'spectrumLibrary.msp' not affect the outcomes? Any guidance on the spectral library generation and spectral library searching would be appreciated.
Thanks for the report. spectrum library is not yet integrated into the O-glyco search. you can however, write spectra in the MetaDraw function. And you can reload those spectra into MetaDraw and view them as mirror plots. Also, in metadraw, a spectrum similarity will be calculated.
We will keep this open and see if we can add this new feature.
