Proposed migration to docusaurus from current custom solution for ima website:

Main motivation

  • the current documentation files are quite cluttered and no one really knows how it's actually built.
  • since whole monorepo is written in JS, not many people are able to serve the documentation locally to validate changes thorugh jekyll.
  • currently we have to maintain custom styles and markup, docusaurus would leave us focus just on writing actual documentation md files.
  • Support for algolia search though plugins without too much hastle.
  • Easier maintenance of the documentation website.
