Tahrir's sister project Freenet, has been accepted for Google Summer of Code 2012, and Freenet will be accepting project applications to work on The Tahrir Project!

If you are interested, as of 26th March you can go to http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/homepage/google/gsoc2012 and sign up to be a student (you should sign up for the Freenet organization).
