Email checks

Please trigger and verify the text for the following email notifications

  • new user when signing up as a new organization
  • new user when signing up as part of an existing organization
  • new user when enabled
  • advocates receive email when anonymous client signs up
  • site_admin and shelters receive an email when a Client Application is completed but was not auto-assigned to the Advocate organization entering it
  • shelters receive email when new pets in need are available (triggered by client being accepted by advocate)
  • advocate receives email when pets are accepted
  • advocate receives email when pets are released
  • shelter receives email when client is released but pets are still active with shelter

Most (if not all) of these will also trigger an email to the site admin as well. We'll need to verify that those emails are received, and then start deciding which emails don't need to go to the site admin.

Disclosure Checks

Please verify the text for the following actions that display a disclosure

  • New user signup, before selecting type of organization
  • Advocate clicking "Accept Client"
  • Shelter clicking "Accept Pets"

I think that's all the disclosures we have right now. We will most likely be adding disclosures when verifying/enabling new users and organizations soon.

  • When the Advocate selects the new client on the dashboard, the full client application shows up, even though the new client only filled out the short version. It looks like the new client didn't finish the application.
  • When I opened the new client application, the phone number showed up as "23". I tried changing it, but it won't save. The email showed up fine, but if the client doesn't want to be contacted by email, that could be an issue.
  • On the "more info" form for pets, it should say "Please describe the pet's behavior and temperament". That's just me being picky.
  • There doesn't appear to be a way to send a completed client form to the shelters if the Advocate didn't start the client application.
  • I started a new client from the dashboard and clicked "assign to my org now" but it showed up under "Clients in Need."
  • Site_admin got the email when a Client Application is completed, but shelter didn't
  • The client name shows up as the client ID, until the shelter accepts the pet - then it turns into a number
  • No emails to site_admin or advocate when Shelter accepted pet
  • No emails to site_admin or advocate when Shelter releases pet
  • No emails to site_admin or advocate when client is released but pets are still active with shelter
  • No verification when Advocate clicking "Accept Client"
