Adventures in Raspberry Pi

So JavaZone gave speakers a really cool gift this year, and I am documenting my experiences with it here.

First I needed some electronics to connect to it. I ordered from AdaFruit, but you could also get stuff from SparkFun, DealExtreme, BangGood or Elfa Distrelec.

In my first batch I got assorted switches, leds, A/D-converters, a GPIO-expander, an NFC-reader and cables. But for actual designs I also need resistors and capacitors.

Anyway, on to first task: switching a led on and off from software
