The general philosophy for the template repo is to provide helpful tooling, workflows, configuration etc. that will be necessary during the development lifecycle, thereby lessening the need for users to have to remove things because they have no use for them. This is however negotiable and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

New idea

New Github issues are welcome. However, if you want to shakeout your idea, you can drop a message in the team's discord channel to get collective feedback first.

When creating a new issue the following must be adhered to:

  1. Provide sufficient context for the issue even if it is assigned to you
  2. Use the appropriate labels
  3. Assign to yourself if you plan on working on it. If left unassigned it implies anyone can pick it up.

Existing Github issues

If an issue is unassigned, anyone can pick it up. If it's already assigned but you're interested in contributing, you can do so via commenting on the issue to share your thoughts. You can be a primary reviewer or contribute your PR in collaboration for an optimal outcome.
