By default, Trunk Recorder records and dumps recorded audio files into a directory of your choosing (along with a JSON file if configured to do so). Here are a couple of options to make it easier to browse through recordings (and share them on the Internet).
- Uploading-to-OpenMHz
- Streaming online to Broadcastify with Liquid Soap
- Broadcastify Calls (API)-Wiki
- Trunk Player - A great Python-based server. Requires knowledge of Python and nginx.
- Jason McHuff's (@rosecitytransit) audioplayer.php Web page
- Daily log and "live" version at rosecitytransit/trunk-recorder-daily-log
- Rdio Scanner, provides a good looking, scanner style interface for listening to Trunk-Recorder.
Trunk Recorder 4.0 introduced an API to allow users to build plugins to develop custom upload workflows or reporting mechanisms. Development notes for this API can be found here. Some available plugins are listed below:
Name | Description |
---|---|
trunk-recorder-mqtt-status | Trunk Recorder status over MQTT. |
trunk-recorder-mqtt-status (community fork) | Trunk Recorder status and unit updates over MQTT. |
trunk-recorder-mqtt-statistics | Trunk Recorder call info over MQTT. |
trunk-recorder-daily-log | Daily call log and live Web page |
trunk-recorder-decode-rates | Control channel decode rates logger and PHP SVG graph |
Trunk-recorder can be extended through the use of scripts and plugins. Some examples can be found here.
