Although RisingWave is compatible with the Postgres wire protocol and system catalogs so a considerable number of external tools work to inspect and manage the system, we still have some custom resources like Source and Sink which cannot be natively supported. As a result, the catalog pages in dashboard play an important role for observability, especially for on-premises deployments.

Currently, there's a lack of detail information, such as...

  • owner name additional to internal id
  • database name
  • schema name

Also, some custom resources are missing, like
