simple-translation

A translation extension for Mozilla Firefox (V. 3 - V 12*) based on Google's Translation API.

Hot to use

Download and unzip the extension
Place the unzipped folder to Firefox's profile directory, e.g. ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/[profileName]/extensions (on mac)
(Re-)Start Firefox
Open Add-Ons Tab and go to simple-translation preferences and enter your Google API Key
Get Started! Open the right-click menu on a selected text and the click on the first option "Übersetzen mit SimpleTranslation"

Registered Google users go to https://code.google.com/apis/console/ and activate Translate-Service. See https://developers.google.com/translate/ for more information about the translation API.

In the meanwhile you need to activate your Billing-options to use any API of Google. You get the pricing information on https://developers.google.com/translate/v2/pricing
