running resample

Hi!

I'm trying to run the resample command but I'm getting the following output

$meshgeo -resample lh.white.32k.surf.gii lh.pial.32k.surf.gii

ERROR: m1 does not have the same number of vertices as m

any idea why? both meshes are on the same sphere
